Asadula Imangazaliev Stuns Muay Thai Legend Nong-O with Second-Round Knockout in Bangkok

In Bangkok, Thailand, ONE Championship concluded its weekend events at Lumpinee Stadium with an exhilarating fight card, ONE Friday Fights 147, headlined by Nong-O vs. Imangazaliev.

The main event saw Russian sensation Asadula Imangazaliev deliver a spectacular performance against the legendary former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion, Nong-O Hama.

Despite failing his pre-fight hydration tests, which disqualified him from contending for the divisional title, the rising Dagestani star, Imangazaliev, still entered the ring and made a powerful statement by defeating a true Muay Thai icon.

From the opening bell, Imangazaliev showcased a bewildering range of unconventional techniques, notably a sharp axe kick that visibly rattled his opponent. His continuous stance switching effectively disrupted the Thai legend’s rhythm and timing.

As the second round began, the aggressive Russian fighter intensified his pressure, preventing Nong-O from closing the distance and launching any significant offense. Imangazaliev seized this opportunity, landing a devastating left hook directly to Nong-O’s chin, resulting in a knockout at just 44 seconds into the round.

Following his victory, Imangazaliev issued a challenge to former divisional monarch Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon, eyeing a ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title bout.
