Assassin’s Creed Shadows Update 1.1.10 Introduces Mouse & Keyboard Support for Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 Pro Enhancements

Ubisoft recently announced a reduction in ongoing support for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, reallocating developers to focus on future installments within the broader franchise. While this decision, made less than a year after the game’s initial launch, is understandable, Ubisoft confirmed at the time that smaller-scale patches would still be released. The latest of these updates, version 1.1.10, was deployed on April 7th.

Despite being a relatively modest patch, update 1.1.10 brings several notable and promising features to Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Foremost among these is the introduction of mouse and keyboard input support for players on the Nintendo Switch 2. This new compatibility allows for a more versatile control scheme on the console. Additionally, PlayStation 5 Pro owners will experience enhanced visual clarity and improved performance levels, thanks to the integration of new PSSR 2 technology into the game.

Finally, the Bo weapon, which was previously exclusive to the “Claws of Awaji” expansion, has now been made available to all players. This means the staff weapon can now be found and utilized by anyone exploring feudal Japan.

A range of general bugs and performance issues have also been addressed and resolved in this latest update.
