Baffled Chelsea Fans See Cole Palmer Running From Stamford Bridge

Chelsea supporters were left scratching their heads after footage appeared on social media showing midfielder Cole Palmer running away from Stamford Bridge.

The video captured the Blues player, dressed in a hoodie and shorts, jogging through a crowd of fans. He was holding a phone to his ear while another was in his hand. Some fans were seen running after him in the clip.

While Palmer featured in Chelsea`s 1-0 victory over Everton at Stamford Bridge today, the exact timing of the social media video remains unclear.

Nevertheless, his unexpected appearance running near the stadium confused fans, prompting questions like “What’s going on?” and “Where is he going?”. Some joked, “Lmao! The team bus left him behind.”

Palmer`s performance against Everton was below his usual standards, earning him the lowest rating among Chelsea players by SunSport. This match extended his current goalless streak to 17 games, although Nicolas Jackson ended his own 13-game drought by scoring the winner.

Coach Enzo Maresca recently commented on Palmer`s dip in form, suggesting it was “mental” rather than tactical or technical. Maresca noted that Palmer is still creating chances and expects him to start scoring again.

Following the win, Chelsea briefly climbed to fourth place in the Premier League standings, but later dropped back to fifth after Newcastle secured a victory against Ipswich.

Amidst his scoring slump, commentary from a video related to Palmer even suggested he might need to leave Chelsea, feeling he has “outgrown the club”.
