One of the most recognized power couples in sports seems to be ending their relationship.
News from Germany suggests that Bastian Schweinsteiger, a World Cup champion, and Ana Ivanovic, a former top-ranked tennis player, have separated after being married for nine years.

According to the German publication Bunte, former Manchester United star Schweinsteiger, 40, and his wife Ivanovic, 37, ended their relationship two months prior.
It is reported that the couple, who share three sons, are living apart following their separation.
Schweinsteiger is reportedly traveling for work but primarily resides in Munich, where he spent the majority of his successful career playing for Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Ivanovic is residing nearly 1,000 MILES away in her hometown of Belgrade, Serbia, with their children Luka, Leon, and Theo.
Ivanovic, who triumphed at the French Open in 2008, is believed to be living in an apartment close to her parents and brother.
Reports from Bild suggest that the couple`s relationship began to suffer due to spending too much time apart.
These sports icons first met in 2014, and Schweinsteiger proposed in London shortly after their initial meeting.
They later married in Venice in July 2016, just five months before Ivanovic retired from professional tennis.

Ivanovic had a remarkable career, securing 15 titles and earning over £11.6 MILLION in prize money.
Her achievements include reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals in 2007, the Australian Open final in 2008, and winning the French Open in 2008 against Dinara Safina.
Schweinsteiger enjoyed an 18-year professional football career, primarily with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
The defensive midfielder played 500 games for Bayern, ranking him 11th in club history for appearances.
His accolades with Bayern include eight league titles, seven German Cups, and one Champions League trophy.
In 2015, he moved from Bayern to Manchester United, spending two seasons with the Red Devils, making 35 appearances, and contributing to League Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League victories.
He transitioned from the Premier League to MLS side Chicago Fire in 2017, spending three seasons in the US before retiring in 2019.
On the international stage, Schweinsteiger represented Germany 121 times and was a key member of their 2014 World Cup-winning team.
