BetBoom Team COO Reflects on Gaimin Gladiators: “The End of an Era for a Championship-Winning Team”
Gleb “cenra” Antokhin, the Chief Operating Officer of BetBoom Team, has shared his thoughts on the recent roster changes in Gaimin Gladiators’ Dota 2 squad. Antokhin expressed his views through a Telegram post, offering insight into the team’s future prospects.
Antokhin stated, “With Seleri stepping down, we’re witnessing the end of a team that has claimed numerous tournament victories and secured second place at The International twice. Anton was a crucial element that the team will now sorely miss, which I hope is clear to everyone now. It’s undoubtedly sad, but it will be interesting to see players like Tofu potentially joining other teams in the upcoming season, or perhaps even this one. Who knows? Personally, I’ll remember Gaimin Gladiators as a powerful, consistent, and dominant force in the competitive scene.”
Earlier, Gaimin Gladiators announced that Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp would be taking a break from active play. The team cited the demanding tournament schedule as the reason for Seleri’s hiatus. For upcoming championships, Arman “Malady” Orazbaev will be stepping in to fill the fifth position role for the team.
These changes mark a significant shift for Gaimin Gladiators, a team that has left an indelible mark on the Dota 2 competitive landscape with their numerous achievements and consistent high-level performances.
