Bukayo Saka Resumes Training with Arsenal in Dubai
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is making strides in his recovery from a hamstring injury that required surgery in late December. The 23-year-old has joined his teammates at a mid-season training camp in Dubai as he works towards a return to action.
Saka shared photos on social media showing him participating in strength and conditioning exercises. In one image, the scar from his recent hamstring operation was visible on his right leg. While not yet back in full training, Saka appears to be progressing well in his rehabilitation program.
Arsenal supporters expressed excitement at seeing Saka nearing a comeback, with many likening his eventual return to a new signing for the club. The England international is expected to be available again in early March, potentially in time for Arsenal’s Champions League round of 16 tie.
Defender Ben White is also close to returning from injury after being sidelined since November. He could feature when Arsenal face Leicester City this weekend. However, Gabriel Martinelli recently suffered a hamstring issue against Newcastle and is predicted to be out for around six weeks.
Saka’s impending return will be a major boost for manager Mikel Arteta as Arsenal look to maintain their challenge for silverware in the second half of the season. The talented winger had been in excellent form prior to his injury setback in December.
