Tundra Esports` Dota 2 midlaner, Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov, shared insights into the decision-making process behind picking Invoker in the fourth game of the BLAST Slam III grand final. He discussed this strategy during an interview after their victory at the tournament.
It was time to bring some heroes back into the pool. He [Invoker] had been out of the meta for a whole month, but the time was right.
Initially, I was the one who suggested picking Invoker. However, we had tested it in practice beforehand. If it proved effective, MoonMeander [coach] might suggest using it; otherwise, he wouldn`t consider it.
