Chelsea are reportedly close to finalising the signing of forward Liam Delap on a six-year contract.
The 22-year-old striker became a primary transfer target for Chelsea this summer following his impressive campaign with Ipswich.

Delap scored 12 goals in 37 Championship appearances, helping the Tractor Boys secure promotion back to the Premier League.
The former Manchester City talent reportedly had a £30 million release clause in his contract.
Chelsea have now reached an agreement on personal terms with Delap.
The England Under-21 international is expected to sign a contract keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2031.
He reportedly chose Chelsea despite interest from other clubs including Manchester United, Newcastle, and Everton.
Delap is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at Chelsea`s training ground in Cobham later today.
Liam is the son of Stoke City icon Rory Delap and began his footballing journey in the youth academy at Derby County.
He joined Manchester City in 2019 but spent time on loan at Stoke, Preston North End, and Hull City.
Following only six senior appearances for Manchester City under Pep Guardiola, Delap moved to Ipswich`s Portman Road last summer in a deal reported to be worth £15 million.
His powerful style and clinical finishing in the Championship attracted significant attention.
However, Chelsea were quick to secure the signing as they seek striking options, potentially as an alternative to Nicolas Jackson.
New Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is familiar with the striker from their shared time at Manchester City`s academy.

The Blues are reportedly keen for Delap to be available for the forthcoming Club World Cup tournament, starting on June 14.
However, Delap is also understood to be keen on participating in the upcoming Under-21 European Championships in Slovakia under coach Lee Carsley.
