Following numerous requests from the fanbase, developer Sandfall Interactive is actively considering the creation of a plush toy based on Esquier, one of the minor characters featured in their game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This possibility was revealed by studio head Guillaume Broche during an interview with YouTuber CohhCarnage, where he confirmed that discussions about merchandising were already taking place internally.

He expressed strong enthusiasm for the idea, stating emphatically that “the world simply needs such a toy.” However, he did not provide any concrete details or timelines regarding a potential release of the merchandise.

According to the information provided, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 24, 2025. The game is currently available for purchase digitally on PC via the Steam platform, as well as for console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
