The organizers of The International 2025, in collaboration with sponsors SteelSeries and PGL, have announced a cosplay competition with a total prize pool of €18,500.
Applications for the cosplay contest are open to everyone, but the organizers reserve the right to reject any application that does not meet their requirements. The rules stipulate that costumes must not include nudity, dangerous weapons, pyrotechnics, liquids, laser pointers, or any other elements that could potentially harm spectators or the surrounding environment. Furthermore, costumes should not exceed one meter in length or width and must be maneuverable enough for participants to move around independently.
All accredited participants are required to attend an offline qualifying round on September 11th in Hamburg, near the location of The International 2025. Judges will select the top ten cosplayers to participate in a showcase on the TI14 stage. From these finalists, four winners will be chosen across different categories.
The International 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 4th to 14th. Valve has previously announced a new format for this year`s championship.
