CS2 Pro Player Expresses Disapproval of Anubis Map
Professional Counter-Strike 2 player Danil “donk” Kryshkovets has shared his thoughts on the Anubis map, expressing a strong preference for Vertigo. The esports athlete’s opinion was published in a video on his team’s YouTube channel.
“Anubis is a complete disaster, not a proper map. I wish they would remove it from the map pool. It’s the least skill-based map because there’s so little space for CTs to work with,” Kryshkovets stated. “You can just throw two smokes and… You could be playing against five ScreaMs and still win. There isn’t a single team that can dominate on Anubis. It’s super random and requires little skill. Vertigo was much better.”
On February 4th, following a victorious match against GamerLegion at IEM Katowice 2025, Kryshkovets reiterated his stance, saying, “Anubis is a terrible map. Please remove it from CS.”
