Dennis Bond Dead at 77: Former Tottenham and Watford Star Dies as Tributes Pour In

Former Tottenham midfielder Dennis Bond has passed away at the age of 77.

Tottenham Hotspur expressed their condolences on social media, stating their deep sadness upon hearing about the passing of Dennis Bond, their former midfielder, at the age of 77. They extended their thoughts to Dennis’ friends and family during this difficult time.

Dennis Bond, a lifelong Tottenham fan who grew up in Walthamstow, began his professional career with Watford.

He debuted for Watford at just 17 years old and played in over 100 senior games before joining Tottenham in 1967.

During his three years at Tottenham, Dennis Bond made 27 appearances with the first team, scoring one goal.

Later, he moved to Charlton Athletic before retiring from professional football and continuing his playing career in non-league.

Dennis Bond officially retired from playing at 55 years old after playing for Boreham Wood, Waltham Abbey, and Potters Bar Town.

Fans shared their tributes on social media. One fan, mentioning his Walthamstow origins, sent thoughts to his family and friends. Another simply wrote “RIP Dennis.”

A third expressed sadness upon hearing the news, and a fourth wished him to rest in peace.
