DM Discusses Bristleback Strategy in Recent Match

Professional Dota 2 player Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin recently shared his thoughts on his Bristleback build during a match against Talon Esports at BLAST Slam II. In a post-game interview on the tournament’s English stream, DM offered insights into his gameplay choices.

“I believe this hero is incredibly strong,” DM explained. “The build I used was actually created by the well-known player Daxak. I’m a bit of a Daxak fan, so I simply follow his approach. I’m trying to secure victories, and it’s proving effective. I think I’m currently on a six-game winning streak with Bristleback, which shows Daxak was right.”

During the series against Talon Esports, DM played Bristleback with the green aspect in both games. In the first map, he built Phase Boots and Pipe of Insight, while in the second, he opted for Lotus Orb, Assault Cuirass, Pipe of Insight, Sange and Yasha, and Power Treads. PARIVISION emerged victorious with a 2-0 score.

Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin, the player DM referenced, typically builds Lotus Orb, Sange and Yasha, and Pipe of Insight for Bristleback in official matches. Daxak was among the first players to highly value the green aspect (Snot Rocket aspect) for the hero.
