Dyrachyo Explains Why He’s Not Rushing Back to Dota 2

Esports player Anton Shkredov, known as dyrachyo, announced that he does not intend to return to the professional Dota 2 scene at least until the conclusion of The International 2025. In an interview on the Smol Talk YouTube channel, he revealed the reasons for his break and shared his thoughts on the current state of tournaments.

Answering a question about a potential return, he said: “I think we`ll see after `Int` (The International). Maybe I`ll return, maybe not. I don`t plan to before `Int`, I have no desire. The schedule is too packed. Maybe if I was asked to stand in, I`d consider it, but I simply don`t like the quality of the current tournaments. It`s uncomfortable. There aren`t enough spectators. When you constantly play from studios or some obscure offices, the atmosphere is lost, and everything turns from a celebration into a routine. Routine becomes very annoying over time. For example, I played four tournaments, three of which were in a studio, and for one, the hall was half-empty.”
