Premier League and England defender Kieran Trippier reportedly became the unwitting recipient of a substantial £9,500 bill for lap dances, incurred by his friends and placed under his name following a lively night at a strip club.
The considerable tab included charges for 76 tokens, each valued at £100, which were used for personal dances at a gentlemen’s club. It is noted that the Newcastle United player has visited this establishment on previous occasions.

The bill, which ultimately totalled £9,663.45, is believed to have been run up at the `For Your Eyes Only` club in Newcastle. The individuals responsible are reportedly friends of Trippier who play for non-league side Gateshead.
The detailed receipt, printed at 4.36 am earlier this month, included charges for alcohol as well as 38 additional £50 dance tokens alongside the more expensive ones. The bill was registered under the moniker “Tripps”.
A source commented on the situation, stating: “Kieran has visited FYEO before, but this bill was run up by some of the lads he knows at Gateshead. He wasn’t there. This seems to be their idea of a joke on Kieran. Who knows who footed the bill.”
Trippier, aged 34, separated from his partner Charlotte, with whom he has three children, last year.
He was absent from Newcastle’s recent match against Arsenal due to a calf injury.
Newcastle were defeated 1-0 by a remarkable goal from Declan Rice at the Emirates Stadium.
The team now needs to secure a victory in their upcoming home game against Everton next week to ensure qualification for a Champions League spot.
