Yesterday, we unveiled the confirmed playoff bracket for the ESL One Birmingham Dota 2 tournament, taking place at DreamHack in Birmingham, England. We are now ready to share the exciting outcomes from the initial elimination series, which saw two teams successfully advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where a coveted spot in the Grand Final is on the line.
In the first match-up, Team Yandex secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Team Spirit. This was followed by Tundra Esports also triumphing with a 2-1 score against Aurora Gaming. As a result, Team Yandex and Tundra Esports are now set to face each other tomorrow in the Upper Bracket Final. Meanwhile, Team Spirit and Aurora Gaming have been relegated to the Lower Bracket, where they must now battle to avoid being eliminated from the tournament.
