Manchester United defeated Arsenal in a close match to secure a place in the FA Youth Cup semi-finals.
Manchester United took the lead in the 36th minute when Jack Fletcher, son of Darren Fletcher, scored with a powerful curling shot from the edge of the box.
Arsenal responded just before halftime as Will Sweet’s long pass found Louis Copley, who calmly chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to equalize.
Arsenal’s standout player, Max Dowman, earned a penalty after a skillful run into the box and converted it to put Arsenal ahead.
However, United quickly equalized again through Jaydan Kamason, who scored with a long-range effort from the right wing in added time.
In extra time, Bendito Mantato scored the decisive goal for Manchester United, tapping in Samuel Lusale’s cross from close range.
Arsenal’s Will Street was sent off late in the game for a foul on Kamason.
