Fan Gets VIP Treatment After Reuniting Man United Star with Lost Dogs

A Manchester United supporter and her children were given a special behind-the-scenes experience after helping reunite player Alejandro Garnacho with his missing dogs.

Leah Smith, 26, was driving with her daughter when she spotted two dogs loose near Garnacho’s home. After getting them safely in her car, she recognized them from the player’s social media posts and brought them to United’s Carrington training facility.

Staff confirmed the dogs belonged to Garnacho and asked Smith to return them to his home. The player and his partner Eva were extremely grateful for Smith’s kind actions.

As a thank you, Garnacho arranged for Smith and her children to receive:

  • A private tour of the Manchester United training ground
  • Tickets to watch a Premier League match from the players’ family area at Old Trafford
  • The chance to see the first team players training up close

Smith said her children were thrilled by the experience, calling it unforgettable. She later ran into Garnacho while he was walking the dogs and he thanked her again personally.

Fans praised the 20-year-old Argentinian player’s generous response to Smith’s good deed. Garnacho joined United’s academy in 2020 and made his first-team debut in 2022.
