Rodion “fear” Smyk, a Counter-Strike 2 player for Fnatic, shared his thoughts on his teammate Dmitry “jambo” Semere. In the TEDD TALK podcast, Smyk described the 20-year-old sniper as one of the most talented players in that role.

Quote from Fear:

Jambo is in the top three snipers. [Tedd: `In the world?`]. Yes. [Tedd: `You mean he`s in the top three in the world? M0NESY is first, I assume?`] Yes. [Tedd: `Who`s second: sh1ro or ZywOo?`] ZywOo, of course. ZywOo and m0NESY are top 1 and 2. [Tedd: `And you`re saying jambo is third?`] Absolutely, no doubt. I`m completely sure. I see what happens in practice, I`ve played with different people and I see his talent. It`s really enjoyable to play with him.

[Tedd: `What makes jambo stand out from other top 10 snipers? Because you`re kind of claiming he`s better than, for example, sh1ro`]. Sh1ro is indeed a very strong player, but jambo is naturally gifted, that`s why I put him so high in my ranking. Of course, he has less experience than sh1ro, and therefore less game knowledge, I understand that. But in terms of talent, he`s definitely in the top three.

At the time of this article`s publication, Fnatic, featuring fear and jambo, is participating in the qualifiers for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. After two matches, the team has one win and one loss.
