Fng Shares Insights on Miracle-‘s Changing Performance

Artem “Fng” Barshak, a professional Dota 2 player, recently shared his thoughts on why Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, the carry player for Nigma Galaxy, has been struggling to maintain his previously high level of performance. Fng’s comments shed light on the evolving nature of Dota 2 and its impact on individual player dominance.

“Dota has changed significantly,” Fng explained. “The concept of playing a ‘4+1’ strategy is no longer viable. The game has moved away from that approach for quite some time now. The last International where such a strategy was effective was probably TI7. Back then, the mid lane had an abundance of creeps, the offlane didn’t require two heroes, and there was a roaming position 4. The game relied more heavily on the mid player, which is where Miracle- excelled and dominated.”

On February 10, it was announced that Miracle- would not be playing for Nigma Galaxy in upcoming qualifiers. The team will be competing with Daniel “Ghost” Chan as a stand-in. The reasons for Al-Barkawi’s absence have not been disclosed.
