Manchester United fans were outraged as their team conceded a goal against Fulham that mirrored a goal from their previous FA Cup encounter.
In a repeat of their 2023 FA Cup fixture, Manchester United faced Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Fulham took the lead in the first half when Calvin Bassey headed in a corner from Andreas Pereira at the far post.
While Fulham fans celebrated, Manchester United supporters experienced a sense of déjà vu.
The goal was strikingly similar to one conceded against Fulham in their prior FA Cup match, scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Just like Bassey’s goal, Pereira delivered the ball, it evaded numerous defenders, and Mitrovic scored at the back post, although with a half-volley instead of a header.
Man Utd fans expressed their frustration on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the repeated defensive error.
One fan shared a video of Mitrovic’s previous goal, commenting on the similarity to the recent Bassey goal.
Another fan sarcastically called their team the “funniest team ever.”
A third fan lamented the fact that Fulham scored an “EXACT SAME goal” as two years prior.
Bruno Fernandes equalized for Man Utd in the 71st minute with a low left-footed strike past Bernd Leno.
The match proceeded to extra time, remaining level after 90 minutes.
Ultimately, Man Utd faced penalty shootout disappointment as Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee missed crucial penalties.
