Former France international Jeremy Menez was reportedly asked to leave Anfield last night because he was supporting Paris Saint-Germain against Liverpool on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old went to England to watch his former team play against Arne Slot’s Liverpool for a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

PSG were losing 1-0 on aggregate before the match, but Ousmane Dembele equalized after just 12 minutes at Anfield.
After 120 minutes, the score was still tied, leading to a penalty shootout where PSG won.
However, it’s claimed that Menez missed PSG’s victory because he was removed from the stadium.
Former Premier League midfielder Samir Nasri told French TV channel Canal Plus: “Let’s remember those who were also kicked out of the stadium.”
“Jeremy Menez was at the game, and when asked if he was French, after he answered yes, they told him to leave the stadium… in the 70th minute!”
Menez played 110 games for PSG over three years during his career.
During that time, he scored 19 goals and made 37 assists.
Menez also played for teams like Monaco, Roma, AC Milan, and Bordeaux before retiring last year.
After Tuesday’s game, PSG manager Luis Enrique said: “Both teams deserved to advance to the next round.”
“They played better than us here, but I think my team showed great personality and character at Anfield, in a special stadium.”
“We tried to play our best, but it was hard because they are so intense. Both teams deserve to qualify.”
“The character and personality, even when we took penalties, they showed great character. I think it clearly shows what kind of team we are.”
