Joshua Zirkzee was visibly heartbroken after Manchester United’s dramatic FA Cup defeat.
The Red Devils were eliminated by Fulham in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.




The Dutch forward missed the crucial penalty, resulting in his team’s exit from the FA Cup.
Zirkzee was visibly emotional on the field after the match.
His teammates immediately offered him comfort.
Fulham’s Alex Iwobi was also seen showing his support to the Netherlands player.
Manager Ruben Amorim was seen consoling him as well.
Ironically, Zirkzee had been the hero in United’s FA Cup third-round victory against Arsenal, scoring the winning penalty.
However, this time, Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno anticipated correctly and saved Zirkzee’s attempt.





Coach Amorim has started Zirkzee in the last three games.
Fulham’s opening goal came in the first half when Calvin Bassey scored from an Andreas Pereira corner.
Bruno Fernandes equalized, sending the game into extra time.
With no further goals in extra time, the match went to penalties.
Victor Lindelof’s penalty was saved first.
Subsequently, Zirkzee’s crucial penalty was also saved, sealing Manchester United’s fate in the FA Cup.
