Korb3n Explains Team Spirit’s Choice of Larl over No[o]ne in 2022

Team Spirit’s manager, Dmitry Korb3n Belov, addressed rumors about the organization’s refusal to sign Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko in 2022. Belov explained why Denis larl Sigitov was preferred during that period.

Korb3n admitted that he respects No[o]ne, but he is glad that Spirit decided to bet on larl. He noted that he does not consider the decision to be a mistake, since the team won Riyadh Masters 2023 and The International 2023 with Sigitov.

Let’s look at it. In 2022, No[o]ne has no achievements: a near-last place at the PGL Arlington Major, and did not qualify for The International. Further, again zero achievements, a terrible game in Old G, but this is already 2023. And we were supposed to take him, according to statements, in 2022. Question: why should we have taken him? Even if we look now. PARIVISION’s achievements are approximately the same as Spirit’s. I have nothing against Vovan No[o]ne, he is a super cool player, I have said this. I am trying to reason logically. Perhaps we were wrong not to take him. According to the results, we were not wrong. When I saw this news, it was quite funny. I don’t know who leaked it, but I can also leak: we communicated with Vovan more than once in different periods of his career, before and after Den larl. This is normal. I don’t understand why we should have taken No[o]ne. Even more, I don’t understand why people think it was a mistake. If we reason using the example of 2022, then we won The International and Riyadh Masters. Come on. And we did all this with Den. I don’t even want to check what would have happened if we had taken someone else instead of Den. This is just absurd.
