Team Spirit`s Dota 2 manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, has shared his assessment of the revamped Virtus.pro roster featuring Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin. He expressed his views on Telegram.
Virtus Pro, these letters hold so much for the hearts of veteran fans.
VP has returned with some kind of brilliant master plan.
1. They bought out the Chimera roster, but part of the payment was in the form of an unnecessary VP asset, and I`m talking about the coach. VP did something similar when they took Rodjer from Na`Vi and gave away Lil.
2. This Virtus.pro roster now has EPT points.
3. VP now has a foundation in the form of Vangey and Lorenof, who are joining the team as young and ready players.
4. Both players on the bench (Squadix, Noticed) are easily sellable, as their positions are in demand, and there are interested parties in the market.
5. Playing in the MENA region is a smart abuse of tournament organizer rules.
In VP`s position, I would hold onto Noticed until there is complete clarity with Daxak, so as not to later buy out some offlaner for the price of a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Daxak deserves respect for continuing to break through walls. He could be flying on a BetBoom streamer sombrero on a stream for triple the price.
Many have asked who the coach is; I think Gesha has moved with the guys. In general, in his career, he goes hand in hand with TA2000 and Daxak.
If we reason without emotions, then, of course, this transfer also leaves questions.
– Chimera officially disbanded, so in essence, it`s a signed stack with problems.
– This is the same roster that won only 1 out of 2 qualifications in the MENA region, and they will have to play qualifiers for PGL tournaments in Western Europe.
– Lack of a captain, besides Daxak.
The announcement of the new Virtus.pro roster took place on March 28th. In addition to Daxak, the roster includes three more former Chimera Esports players, as well as Vladislav “Rein” Kosygin from One Move. You can read more about this in the material.
