According to Korb3n, this situation highlights the high cost of entry into the professional Dota 2 scene in 2025.

Aurora Gaming officially announced their new roster on February 28th. The team welcomed Egor ‘Nightfall’ Grigorenko, Alexander ‘TORONTOTOKYO’ Khertek, Miroslav ‘Mira’ Kolpakov, Gleb ‘kiyotaka’ Zyryanov, and Nikita ‘Panto’ Balaganin.
