Alexey “Solo” Berezin, the former captain of the 9Pandas Dota 2 roster, has successfully completed his personal challenge to increase his MMR from 13,000 to 14,000 within a timeframe of 20 streaming sessions. Achieving this required him to participate in a total of 244 matches, some of which were played offline.
Berezin finished the challenge with a final record of 143 wins against 101 losses. On the last day, he was less than 100 MMR away from his target; however, his final broadcast session unfortunately began with a series of defeats, necessitating a comeback effort from Solo. Consequently, the final stream lasted for approximately 17 hours. A key condition of the challenge was that failure to reach the 14,000 MMR goal would compel Berezin to play League of Legends. Following the successful completion of the task, his final MMR was recorded as 14,006.
In related news, Solo had previously indicated that he already has a new team, though he chose not to disclose any specific details at the time. Rumors circulated online suggesting he might take leadership of a roster sponsored by Yandex; however, Berezin himself later refuted these reports.
