Dota 2 streamer Sergey `LenaGol0vach` Karnaukhov has shared that the three-day ban recently imposed on his Twitch channel by the administration was, in his opinion, a mistake. He announced this development via his Telegram channel, stating that he has filed an appeal and hopes the restriction might be removed sooner than the scheduled three days.
Karnaukhov elaborated on the situation, writing (paraphrased): “the ban is erroneous for 3 days, wrote an appeal, maybe they will lift it earlier, it depends on luck whether someone gets it lifted immediately or has to wait out the full term 😢 I`m going to box! ❤️”.
The ban on LenaGol0vach reportedly began on the night of May 3rd. This incident occurs amid a broader wave of temporary bans affecting numerous Russian-speaking streamers. Over 20 popular creators faced similar account restrictions for one or more days in late April and early May. Streamer Alexander `VooDooSh` Shalchinov has speculated that these widespread issues might be linked to the lack of official Twitch support within Russia and inconsistent enforcement policies from the platform`s administration.
