Maelstorm Reflects on DreamLeague Season 25’s Opening Day
Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov, a prominent Dota 2 caster, has shared his insights on the first day of DreamLeague Season 25. In a Telegram post, Kuzminov highlighted the impressive form of Tundra Esports and the strong start by Team Spirit. He also commented on the performance of Gaimin Gladiators and other participating teams.
Kuzminov noted, “Tundra’s form is phenomenal. Falcons have their typical slow start, but it’s not concerning. Spirit had an excellent opening, even defeating PSG.LGD. PSG.LGD, however, struggled significantly in a challenging group. Most importantly, Gaimin Gladiators are being carried by their Kazakh players, who made a decisive impact today.”
After the first day of competition, Heroic, Shopify Rebellion, and Tundra Esports each secured two victories in Group A. In the other group, Team Spirit emerged with four points.
DreamLeague Season 25 is taking place online on European servers from February 16 to March 2. The tournament features 16 teams competing for a prize pool of one million dollars and 20,440 ESL Pro Tour points.
