Malr1ne on 9Class: A Talented Player with a Controversial Reputation

Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, a member of Team Falcons’ Dota 2 roster, recently shared his thoughts on Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan, a player for PARIVISION. In an interview with a cybersports portal, Malr1ne expressed his candid opinion about 9Class’s personality and behavior in the gaming community.

Malr1ne stated, “Based on what I know, I consider 9Class to be a problematic individual. He’s undoubtedly a skilled player, but his behavior in ranked games, his treatment of others, and the conflicts he gets involved in are concerning. I view him as an unpleasant person who tends to create discord with others. This type of behavior is foreign to me, and I don’t approve of such characters. That’s why I suggested that life had penalized him for his actions.”

This statement came in response to a question about Malr1ne’s previous comments regarding 9Class’s visa issues for The International 2024. In September 2024, when news broke that 9Class would miss the tournament due to visa problems, Malr1ne remarked, “Karma always comes back, and God sees everything.”

Malr1ne’s comments highlight the ongoing discussions about professionalism and conduct within the Dota 2 community, emphasizing the importance of not only skill but also personal behavior in the esports world.
