In the biopic “Michael,” which chronicles the early years of the King of Pop’s public success and personal struggles, director Antoine Fuqua stated that the crew of four hundred and fifty people worked “for the love of Michael” every day on set. A significant part of the production effort behind this film—which Fuqua proposed to “Bohemian Rhapsody” producer Graham King—lies in the attempt to recreate the charisma Michael Jackson exuded, even in the most casual encounters.
