Michael ‘Venom’ Page Victorious at UFC Saudi Arabia, Ends Magomedov’s Undefeated Streak

British fighter Michael ‘Venom’ Page defeated Sharabutdin Magomedov in a unanimous decision at UFC Saudi Arabia, ending Magomedov’s perfect MMA record.

The judges scored the close fight 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28 in favor of Page, bringing his UFC record to 2 wins and 1 loss.

Page said he could have performed better, stating, “I wanted to do more. My strikes could have been more frequent. I was a bit hesitant and need to improve in training.”

Page believes he should get a title shot this year.

“I need to see who I fight next and my ranking,” he said. “The welterweight division is always changing. I might be one, two, or three fights away from a title shot. I want to fight as much as possible this year to get closer to that title fight.”
