Mid-Stream Interruption: Dyrachyo Temporarily Banned on Twitch During Riyadh Masters 2025 Coverage

Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov, a well-known professional player within the competitive Dota 2 circuit, experienced an unexpected restriction placed upon his Twitch channel while actively engaged in broadcasting the Riyadh Masters 2025 tournament.

The incident occurred during a live stream commentary session covering a match between BetBoom Team and Team Falcons. Reports indicate the channel became inaccessible during the second map of the series, interrupting Shkredov`s ongoing coverage for his audience.

Following the channel restriction, a statement attributed to the player was circulated, indicating the situation was under review and expressing hope for a prompt resolution:

Возможно скоро разбанят (надеюсь как можно быстрее) и стрим продолжится !

This situation, while inconvenient for both the streamer and viewers relying on his perspective for the tournament, is not entirely unprecedented in the dynamic environment of live streaming platforms and their automated or manual moderation systems.

However, the duration of the restriction proved to be relatively brief. According to subsequent updates, dyrachyo`s channel on Twitch was restored and unbanned later the same day, specifically by 20:50 Moscow time on July 9th. This swift resolution allowed for the potential continuation of his tournament broadcast activities.

The temporary nature of the ban suggests the underlying cause was either quickly resolved, clarified, or determined to be a less severe infraction by the platform`s review process. Such events underscore the unpredictable nature of live broadcasting on large digital platforms, even for prominent figures within the esports community.
