Esports organization NAVI is contemplating a return to the League of Legends scene by potentially acquiring a slot in the prestigious European LEC league.
According to sources, NAVI is currently engaged in discussions to purchase a slot from Rogue, an organization that has been looking to exit the LEC since 2024. If negotiations are successful and receive approval from Riot Games, NAVI could field a team in the LEC as early as the summer split of 2025.
NAVI previously had a League of Legends roster that competed in the Continental League (LCL) until 2016, when the division was disbanded. The organization already has a presence in Riot Games` esports ecosystem through its Valorant team in the Valorant Champions Tour: EMEA.
