Neil Druckmann Assisted Intergalactic: The Heretic Star Tati Gabrielle Against Online Harassment

Actress Tati Gabrielle (“You,” “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), who is set to star in the upcoming game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, recently spoke out about experiencing online harassment.

According to Gabrielle, the game`s director, Neil Druckmann, provided her with support to deal with the negative online reactions. He reportedly put her through a “bootcamp,” which included learning about the experiences of other Naughty Dog actors who had also faced online toxicity.

I got a lot of love, but I also got a lot of hate for being a woman, for the color of my skin, for having a shaved head — all these things I initially didn’t even notice. I’m not privy to social media trends. But when I did become privy to it, Neil said, ‘Ignore it. Whatever it is, we’re going to create something beautiful together. We’re going to create something to be proud of.’

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a new intellectual property from Naughty Dog and is not connected to the studio`s previous games. The narrative unfolds thousands of years into the future, focusing on the protagonist, Jordan A. Moon, who finds herself stranded on the remote planet Sempiria. Currently, there is no specific release date announced for the game, but it has been confirmed for PlayStation 5. Details regarding its availability on other platforms remain unconfirmed.
