NS on Nigma Galaxy’s BLAST Slam II Results: ‘A Little Change Goes a Long Way’

Content creator Yaroslav ‘NS’ Kuznetsov shared his thoughts on Nigma Galaxy’s Dota 2 roster change for BLAST Slam II, where Amer ‘Miracle-‘ Al-Barkawi was temporarily replaced by Daniel ‘Ghost’ Chan.

“It turns out that reducing the number of tired veterans who are reluctant to play and bringing in more energetic players can make a surprising difference. Suddenly, things start to work out. Having both Miracle- and SumaiL was excessive,” NS commented.

He continued, “SumaiL played decently every other game, while Miracle- consistently underperformed. He either played just okay because it’s hard to lose on Gyrocopter with Io when you’re dominating the lane, or he played terribly.”

BLAST Slam II took place from February 4-9 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ten invited teams competed for a prize pool of one million dollars. The reasons for Miracle-‘s absence from the tournament remain unknown. Nigma Galaxy finished in 3rd-4th place.
