NS Reflects on dyrachyo’s Exit from Gladiators and Its Significance
Dota 2 content creator Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov shared his thoughts on Gaimin Gladiators’ strength following the replacement of Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov with Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov. NS emphasized the delicate nature of team chemistry and how a single change can disrupt a team’s effectiveness.
“Sometimes, a group of seemingly average players can become incredibly strong when they come together, with each member perfectly complementing the others. This creates a unique synergy and chemistry,” NS explained. “However, when you remove one component from this well-oiled machine, regardless of which one, the entire system can fall apart. Replacing that component with something that doesn’t quite fit causes the mechanism to work imperfectly.”
NS continued, “While I never particularly favored Gladiators, except for tOfu as a player, I didn’t consider the others to be exceptional talents. They were decent, but with dyrachyo, they managed to become a superteam. Removing that one piece has caused the team to noticeably struggle.”
Shkredov was removed from Gladiators in the fall of 2024. After a period of inactivity, dyrachyo joined Tundra Esports on December 31st and has since won two tournaments with his new team.
