PSV Ultras Attend League Two Match Ahead of Arsenal Champions League Game

PSV Eindhoven supporters were seen at a League Two match as a warm-up for their upcoming Champions League game against Arsenal.

Arsenal holds a significant 7-1 advantage going into their home game after their dominant win in the Netherlands.

Video footage online showed what appeared to be “PSV Ultras” singing Dutch songs at the game between AFC Wimbledon and Cheltenham Town.

Fans at the League Two match and online expressed confusion and amusement at the presence of the PSV fans. Some social media users reacted positively, with comments like “Absolutely love it,” “Class,” and “Brilliant – class!”.

The League Two game concluded with Cheltenham winning 2-1. PSV faces a tough challenge to overcome their deficit against Arsenal in the Champions League.

Despite the large score difference, PSV’s traveling fans seem enthusiastic for the second leg against Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta suggested he might rest some players due to their comfortable lead. Arteta noted the unusual situation but emphasized the need to perform well in the second leg, stating, “We’re going to have to earn the right tomorrow to go in the same direction, so we’re fully focused on that.”

He acknowledged the first game’s favorable outcome but stressed the importance of repeating their strong performance to secure another victory.
