Quantum Team Captain Involved in Match-Fixing Had Salary Around ₽100 Thousand ($1300)

Details have emerged regarding the salary of Dmitry `Lukas` Davydov, the former captain of Quantum Team`s Dota 2 roster, who was implicated in intentionally losing an official match.

His earnings were reportedly around $1,300, equivalent to approximately ₽100 thousand. This information was shared by caster Vladimir `Maelstorm` Kuzminov, who communicated with the head of Quantum Team.

Maelstorm noted that some might mistakenly believe pro players are struggling financially, while indicating Lukas`s salary was in the range of $1200-$1300.

On the night of July 1, Quantum Team faced disqualification from European Pro League Season 27. The league organizers stated the reason was Captain Lukas`s actions during the match against 4Pirates, which were judged to be a violation of fair play principles.

Following the incident, Quantum Team also announced the termination of their cooperation with Davydov.

Subsequently, audio recordings of Quantum Team players` team communications during the official match surfaced online. In these recordings, the players can be heard discussing `322` (a term commonly used for match-fixing) and planning how to lose the game.
