Quantum Team Players’ Team Speak Leaked, Revealing 322 Discussions

A recording of the Quantum Team Dota 2 roster`s in-game communications during an official match has surfaced online. The audio clearly shows the players discussing methods to intentionally lose the game, a practice commonly referred to as “322” in esports betting. Furthermore, one player mentions a bet amount of 200,000 units, though the specific currency is not stated. The recording was initially published on the Telegram channel of esports player Krinzhik, who was reportedly standing in for Quantum Team at the time.

The leaked conversation pertains to the second map played between Quantum Team and 4Pirates during the group stage of European Pro League Season 27. Krinzhik apparently recorded the team speak because he suspected his teammates of engaging in match-fixing.

Excerpts from the Transcript:

— Let`s use smoke. Just try not to kill them, I don`t know. Someone needs to jump in really poorly on Storm Spirit.

<…>

— Someone just needs to jump in, die, and that`s it.

— Yeah. Don`t cast Doom, don`t use Black King Bar.

— Regarding TORONTOTOKYO`s items: [first] Refresher Orb, *then* Black King Bar and Doom (implying a sequence intended for failure).

<…>

— Did you seriously bet a million?

— No, not a million, brother — [more — unclear].

— Or the mafia will kill you if you…

— No, no, no. That certainly won`t happen. But the money is decent — 200k.

<…>

— Maybe just buy a Divine Rapier, die, and that`s it?

<…>

— What were the odds for the bet, anyway?

— I don`t know. Around 1.40, I think. Message me your DMs.

Ultimately, Quantum Team lost the second map and were defeated 0:2 in the series. At the conclusion of the recording, Krinzhik stated his non-involvement in the intentional loss. He can be heard saying, “Well, guys, there it is. We`re doing 322. Alright, let`s wrap it up. I`m not participating in this, I`m not mixed up in it, so… This is Lukas [involved]. Alright, good luck everyone.”

Commenting on the leaked recording, caster Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov mentioned that players were reportedly offered 10,000 Russian Rubles (₽) to keep silent about the deliberate loss.

“There is also information that players were offered 10,000 Rubles to stay quiet… And info from one person confirms that three Asian betting offices are at zero (implying significant losses for them). But this is all indirect. And frankly, it doesn`t really matter. The most solid evidence is the game itself combined with the recording.”

Prior to this leak gaining widespread attention, Quantum Team had already been disqualified from European Pro League Season 27. According to the organizers` statement, the disqualification was due to the actions of the team`s captain, Dmitry “Lukas” Davydov, during the match against 4Pirates, which were judged to be a violation of fair play principles. Quantum Team also announced that they had terminated their partnership with Davydov.
