Rebecca Ferguson made her debut in the period drama universe through the recent film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. She portrayed Kaulo, a Romani traveler who was depicted as the twin sister of Zelda, the mother of Tommy Shelby’s son, Duke (played by Barry Keoghan).
Given Ferguson’s prominent standing in contemporary cinema and television, it’s natural to wonder if the actress will ever return to the world of Peaky Blinders as Kaulo. The promising news is that Ferguson has not explicitly ruled out a comeback. However, she doesn’t appear overly keen or desperate for an immediate return to the dramatic series’ universe.
Commenting on her potential future involvement, Ferguson stated, “I never say no. I think Kaulo was so essential for that film, but I don’t always feel a character needs to have a sequel; one can be satisfied without it.”
So, a chance remains. Though, it’s worth noting that excitement for further Peaky Blinders content built upon the foundation of The Immortal Man might be somewhat reserved, as the film reportedly did not live up to the high quality standards established by the acclaimed television series.
