Remake Authors Vow No AI Used for New ‘Naked Gun’ Poster

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the new poster for the upcoming comedy film “The Naked Gun.” The image was officially released through social media channels. Notably, according to statements from the movie`s creative team, the poster was produced entirely without the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies.

This new iteration of “The Naked Gun” is described as serving as both a remake and a sequel to the classic film series. The leading role is filled by Liam Neeson, known for his work in films like “Schindler`s List” and “The A-Team.” Neeson is set to portray Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the original films` main character. The movie is currently scheduled to premiere on August 1, 2025.

The original “The Naked Gun,” which was adapted from the television series “Police Squad!”, first hit theaters in 1988. The comedy was a well-known parody of police-themed movies and television shows. The titular role was famously played by Leslie Nielsen, who also starred in “Airplane!” and “Wrongfully Accused.” The initial film proved successful and led to the creation of two sequels.
