Resident Evil Requiem Hints at Code: Veronica Remake

Persistent rumors suggest that Capcom’s next Resident Evil remake will be the Dreamcast classic, Code: Veronica. These speculations, however, are based solely on unverified insider reports, which are inherently not 100% reliable. Yet, more concrete hints might be emerging from official sources. Potential clues for the game appear within Resident Evil Requiem.

A particularly strong indicator mentioned is a liquor bottle in the game labeled “Avernico,” an undeniable anagram of “Veronica.” While other alleged clues are also discussed, some seem more tenuous and could potentially point towards remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 6 as well. It’s relevant to remember that Capcom has a track record of subtly embedding such hints about its future titles. Therefore, even if some of the evidence presented might lean towards fan speculation, the “Avernico” bottle stands out as remarkably suspicious, wouldn’t you agree?
