The restaurant Toto in Madrid, a joint venture by Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal, has unexpectedly ceased operations after only three years.
The establishment, located in Madrid, was part of the Tatel Group, co-founded by Rafael Nadal.

Toto first opened its doors in March 2022. Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Tatel Group as an investor in 2018, alongside singer Enrique Iglesias.
According to El Espanol, Toto Madrid has closed, although other locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi remain open.
The restaurant was famous for its Vera Carbonara de Totó, a dish that reportedly was ordered around 250 times weekly.
The average customer bill was about £50, and the restaurant had a significant presence on Instagram with over 300,000 followers.
Ronaldo, aged 40, has a wide array of business ventures, including hotels and partnerships, such as with the Pestana hotel group, which developed a £43 million apartment complex in Madeira, Portugal.
His portfolio also includes two hotels, a footwear brand, and fragrance and underwear lines.
Ronaldo’s endorsement deals feature major brands like Nike, Armani, Castrol, and Tag Heuer.
He also shows interest in the restaurant industry, having previously hosted the Portugal national football team at the Tatel de Doha restaurant, also co-owned by Nadal.
