The best moments from Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s fight against Denis Puric at ONE 167.
‘Winning the most prestigious title in Muay Thai, in its most iconic stadium,’ Smith stated to Sky Sports. ‘Everyone expects me to lose, and I thrive on that.’
‘I’m eager to prove everyone wrong.’
‘When I achieve victory, it will be life-changing for my family,’ he added.
‘I believe he is seen as an invincible figure, the ‘Iron Man,’ which he arguably is. He truly embodies that moniker.’
‘But I am here to take his crown.’
Smith is aware that Rodtang will consider him a serious threat.

Denis Puric defeated Jacob Smith from Britain by decision after multiple knockdowns at ONE Championship.
‘In our first encounter, he didn’t underestimate me; there were no dropped hands or showboating. He fought seriously, and I anticipate the same approach. To do otherwise against me now would be unwise,’ Smith remarked.
‘My first fight against him in 2022 was definitely premature, but I took it regardless. He didn’t take me lightly then, and it would be foolish of him to do so now.’
‘This isn’t just about toughness; it’s about skill.’
‘My fighting style is exciting, I fight to win and to entertain,’ Smith further commented. ‘I intend to bring that same energy, but with more patience, improved fight intelligence, and a smarter strategy.’
‘I am confident against any opponent on equal terms – same limbs, same weight.’
‘I’m coming to cause a major upset.’
