Rumors Suggest 9Pandas Esports May Close Down

Esports insiders Harumi and OverDrive have commented on rumors about the potential shutdown of the 9Pandas esports organization. OverDrive initially mentioned the organization`s possible departure from the scene on his Telegram channel.

According to Harumi, rumors about 9Pandas closing have been circulating monthly since December. He suggests waiting for official information. However, he notes that 9Pandas` CEO, Julia, is reportedly working on another project, and failing to qualify for the major tournament has worsened the situation. He concludes that the information seems to have some weight, but official confirmation is still needed.

OverDrive later clarified that 9Pandas might remain in esports if they can secure a new main sponsor.

More specifically, OverDrive stated that 9Pandas` main sponsor has left, and now it`s either a new sponsor or closure for the organization.

9Pandas was founded in April 2022. A few months later, the club signed a Counter-Strike roster, and in 2023, they started working with a Dota 2 roster. However, as of now, the organization does not have a Dota 2 team.
