Shroud to Launch Esports Organization Following Successful Charity Stream
Renowned streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has announced his intention to establish his own esports venture. The revelation came during one of his live broadcasts on Twitch.
Shroud had initially pledged to create an esports organization if his viewers could raise $1 million for charity during his “fragathon” – a series of charity streams benefiting a children’s cancer hospital. The goal was successfully met, prompting Shroud to move forward with his plans.
According to Grzesiek, the project will initially focus solely on fielding a team for Marvel Rivals. He mentioned that he would be contacting several individuals in the near future to bring these plans to fruition. On January 4th, when he set the $1 million fundraising goal, Grzesiek indicated that he would invite former CS:GO and Valorant professionals, now streamers, Tarik Celik and Tyson “TenZ” Ngo to join the roster.
