Skechers is a brand instantly associated with exceptional comfort. I wore these shoes straight out of the box for a full round of golf. Despite initial slight apprehension about potential discomfort, I can confidently report that they performed admirably! They were very lightweight, waterproof, supportive, and offered excellent grip for spikeless golf shoes. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and even received compliments on the footwear.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Excellent fit
- Good stability
Cons:
- May need to size down

Key Benefits and Downsides
| Key Benefits | Downsides |

| Lightweight – This is the first thing you notice when you put these shoes on. | Potential sizing issues – Skechers tend to run large, so you might need to find the “Skechers size” that’s right for you. |
| Out-of-the-box comfort – Some shoes require a break-in period. Not here; the immediate comfort is exceptional. | |
| Stability – For spikeless golf shoes, there were no issues even in muddy, slightly slippery conditions. | |
| Easy to clean – While they might not look like they’d clean up well, any mud easily wipes off with a cloth and water. | |
| Waterproofness – No issues after thoroughly soaking them under the tap. |
First Impressions
Comfort and Style
Skechers are renowned for their comfort, but these shoes certainly don’t lack in style. Upon first unboxing them, I was impressed by their sporty aesthetic; they genuinely look comfortable. They feature a sleek synthetic upper with a textured feel. The white colorway, subtly fading into a darker “natural” shade, looks fantastic. They are also available in two other colors.

Size Down
Regarding sizing, I wore a UK size 7. Skechers is definitely a brand that runs large. For reference, in the G/FORE shoes I recently reviewed, I wore a UK size 8, the same as with Adidas. This is something worth considering if you’re looking to purchase.
Fastening Options
I tested the laced-up version, but Skechers also offers these shoes with a “twist fit” system, which some might know as the BOA design. Personally, I prefer standard laces, but I’m aware that the twist-fit design is excellent for some golfers — much quicker and easier.
How I Undertook the Review
I conducted this review by wearing the golf shoes for two full rounds at my local golf club, allowing me to assess their performance under actual playing conditions. During the testing period, the weather in the UK was quite varied, meaning the shoes had to endure damp and muddy environments. This provided a good test of their stability and ease of cleaning.
Throughout these rounds, I paid close attention to comfort, grip, and durability.
What I Found
Lightweight
Stepping onto the course, I was genuinely impressed by how lightweight these shoes felt. Skechers has incorporated their patented Arch Fit® insole system, which provides podiatrist-certified arch support developed from 20 years of data and 120,000 unweighted foot scans. This padding molded exceptionally well to my feet, making me completely forget that they were brand new and worn straight out of the box.

Stability
The cushioning is also notable, thanks to the ECO FLIGHT™ construction, which means it’s made with at least 10% recycled materials.
These are spikeless golf shoes, featuring a traction outsole. For spikeless footwear, they proved to be remarkably solid and stable. I comfortably walked two rounds, feeling well-supported with every shot.

Easy Clean
While I didn’t get excessively muddy on the course, I did need to freshen up the Skechers Slip-ins. They don’t initially appear to be made of a material that would clean up particularly well – but I was quite mistaken. The waterproof outer material allowed them to be wiped clean effortlessly with a cloth and water.
Waterproof Qualities
Regarding their waterproof qualities, I didn’t get the chance to wear them in the rain, but I thoroughly soaked them, and they showed no signs of water penetration.
Final Say
Overall, I truly enjoyed wearing these shoes. Skechers is well-known as a comfort brand, and they absolutely delivered on that promise.
They are also a great-looking sporty shoe that could certainly be worn off the course if desired.
How They Compare to Other Shoes
The Adidas Adizero ZG Women’s Golf Shoe was probably my favorite pair last year. However, these Skechers shoes strongly reminded me of the Adizero.
As spikeless, waterproof, and easy-to-clean golf shoes, they are difficult to fault. Just remember to size down.
