Solo Opens Up About 9Pandas’ Future

Alexey “Solo” Berezin, captain of the 9Pandas Dota 2 team, recently shared his thoughts on the team’s future in professional gaming. During a Twitch livestream, he discussed the team’s plans and reflected on their recent performance.

When asked about the team’s plans following their underwhelming performance at DreamLeague, Solo responded, “It’s hard to say. First, we have a match against Team Falcons today on the new patch. Secondly, whenever a major patch is released, it takes time to understand it. We need to play a lot to grasp what’s happening on the map.”

Solo added, “I’ll assess my well-being and motivation. Since I’ve started this season, I’ll likely see it through. We’ll try our best to understand the new patch and improve.”

Addressing the team’s struggles, Solo explained, “We’re going through a period of change. We have two new players without much experience – for Misha [lupsione], this is his first bootcamp and team. Progress takes time, even though we’d like immediate results.”

After three days in the initial stage of DreamLeague Season 25, 9Pandas played six matches, resulting in two draws and four losses. This performance has eliminated their chances of advancing to the playoffs, regardless of the final day’s results in the first group stage.

DreamLeague Season 25 is an online tournament running from February 16 to March 2 on European servers. Sixteen teams are competing for a prize pool of one million dollars and 20,440 ESL Pro Tour points.
