Apple TV+ continues to expand its growing catalog of original programming. This May, a new drama series will make its debut, centering on a recently divorced woman in a spiraling personal crisis who, convinced she witnessed a crime, takes matters into her own hands to solve it.
Titled “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” the series features Tatiana Maslany (known for She-Hulk) as Paula. Paula confronts significant life challenges, including a divorce, a bitter child custody dispute, and a deep identity crisis. She attempts to cope by engaging in online discussions, a pursuit that unexpectedly leads her into further complications and dangers.
The show’s premise details how Paula (Tatiana Maslany), a newly divorced mother, descends into a perilous rabbit hole involving blackmail, murder, and even youth soccer. Firmly believing she has witnessed a crime – all while grappling with her custody battle and identity struggles – Paula launches her own investigation. This quest not only holds the potential to unravel a larger conspiracy but also might be the key to rebuilding her family and rediscovering her sense of self.
“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” is scheduled to premiere on May 20.
